Aggreko process services division is strengthened
Aggreko, the global leader in temporary power and temperature
control, has strengthened its process services division by
employing internationally acclaimed process design engineer Dr
Yogesh Gupta.
Aggreko Process Services (APS) was founded 10 years ago, to
offer process solutions specifically to refineries. The highly
technical nature of oil and gas processing meant that a specialist
team was needed to offer expert advice on temporary power and
temperature control solutions within the sector and the success of
the service has since led to a strong continuous growth.
Based in Moerdjk, Holland, the European team previously
consisted of eight experts who understand the complex issues
surrounding process engineering. Dr Yogesh Gupta’s in-depth
knowledge about upstream and downstream processes will further
enhance the division’s service.
Yogesh studied and achieved his Doctorate in Chemical
Engineering at Loughborough University, where he was awarded first
prize by the Institution of Chemical Engineers for his research ‘to
filter a gas from a gas mixture’. Within this project he developed
a novel technique that enables many industrially important gas
mixtures to be separated efficiently and economically and is
regarded as at the cutting edge of research.
Zaw Hein, Business Development Manager at APS comments: “Yogesh
has an understanding of chemical processes that will enable us,
through delicate and precise temperature control, to improve
upstream and downstream processing for our customers. We are
excited to add such a dedicated and enthusiastic member to our team
of expert chemical processing engineers.”
