Workshop Engineer

Location: Service & Repair, Dumbarton

Closing Date: 31 July 2008

Some vacancies have arisen within Service and Repair in Dumbarton for Workshop Engineers.  The roles will report directly to the Team Leader.  The main duties will include the following:

- Servicing/Fault Finding/Repair

• - Total Refurbishment and testing of diesel driven Generator sets, 15-2000kVA, diesel driven Compressors, control systems both electrical and pneumatic,
• - All ancillaries associated with above.

The successful candidate must be a time served mechanical engineer with good working knowledge of DC and AC controls, single/3 phase electrics.  Experience of engine strip downs and rebuilds is essential.  Knowledge of oil free air compressor and associated equipment would be advantageous.  A current driving licence is essential for these positions
