Gas Service Engineers

Location: Sutton

We have vacancies for Olympic site based engineers.  Reporting to the Service Manager the main duties will include:

·         routine servicing of plant on site

·         remediation of breakdowns/repairs on site

·         watchkeeping duties on site

·         providing technical support and general back up of plant to meet contract requirements

·         technical client contact

·         control of spares support

We need time-served engineers with either electrical or mechanical knowledge.  Experience of gas generators is desirable but candidates with a proven track record of diesel generator knowledge will be given suitable gas training.  Communication skills will be important because of the level of direct customer contact you will have, and the ability to apply logic to fault finding will be essential.

The roles will be 4 x 4 day and night shift and the project will run to the end of 2009 with a possible 6 month extension.

A valid driving licence is essential.
